Dead Sea Mineral Mud is known to remove toxins and impurities from the skin, tighten and tone the complexion, improve blood circulation, and exfoliate.
Widely used in Pelotherapy, Dead Sea Mud is high in many minerals and is good for dry, oily, and combination skin types.
Wash your face before applying the mask. Doing this will remove things like dirt, excess oil, makeup and other impurities. This will also open up the pores so that the mud can better penetrate the skin.
Or if you are like me you can open up your pores with a towel or cloth soaked in warm water ;)
Next using upward strokes, gently apply it evenly to your face using your finger tips. Avoid your eyes! You can use Jojoba Oil around your eyes to create a barrier and prevent any incidents.
Applying too thick of a mask will prevent drying properly. Too little and it dries too fast.
To soften and detoxify the skin the mask must be left on until it is dry. Approximately 10-15 min.
When you are finished, remove the mask by using a lukewarm-warm wrung out towel and place it on your face to re-soften the mud. Do this until it can be rinsed off without scrubbing.
Remove mask if it is getting uncomfortable. Discontinue use if it causes an undesired reaction or blemishes.
